RAMBLER SPORTS LOCKER

Sinéad Buckley
Technical Producer
Sinéad Buckley serves as Technical Producer for Rambler Sports Locker, a student-run sports broadcasting organization that reaches thousands of viewers nationally through their weekly shows.
Having a degree in Film & Digital Media, Sinéad brings a fresh perspective to journalism and its intersections with storytelling. As a current student director for Loyola's collaboration short film, "Friday Night", she finds herself combining the sometimes-separated industries through her work and interests.
Her career in broadcasting at Loyola University Chicago began at their student-run independent radio station 88.7 WLUW. The self-titled "Sinéad Show" started as her weekly platform where she talked about the intersections between music and culture. Dissecting musical bodies of work from films, television shows, works dedicated to political movements, or moments in music that dominated pop culture. Now on its fourth year running, the "Sinéad Show" stands as some of her proudest journalistic work.
During her time as an intern at the Catholic Faith Network in New York, she found her footing in television broadcasting. What started as a helping hand in journalistic research and learning interview skills developed into expansive knowledge in broadcast media in a professional atmosphere.
Sinéad has redefined the job as Technical Producer at Rambler Sports Locker. Taking a once pre-recorded show to a live broadcast, establishing fundamental skills that provided students with the real-world experience they needed to pursue a career in broadcasting.
Additionally, as Tech producer, she has created and developed the official RSL website, where any and all information about the group is published. The RSL website was something first discussed after she started photographing the group weekly, creating content for fellow members to post, gaining engagement from students who were not involved and directly causing an uptick in weekly viewers.
