ABOUT RAMBLER SPORTS LOCKER
Founded in 2010, Loyola RSL provides students the opportunity create weekly episodes in Loyola University Chicago's Convergence Studio located at our Water Tower Campus.
We introduce students into sports broadcasting
Our program provides hands-on experience for students interested in broadcasting to learn how to produce a professional sports news show. With Loyola's new Sports Media BA, students have the opportunity to earn a credit for RSL while also gaining real-world experience.
We provide real journalism experience.
Our program allows students to take their skills outside of the classroom and produce their own stories based on Loyola sports. Students involved have the opportunity to provide coverage at professional sports games, interview coaches and athletes, and travel with our program to national tournaments such as the A-10 and the Big-10.
Our professional studio equipment allows students to learn all aspects of broadcasting.
Our convergence studio located at Loyola University Chicago's downtown Water Tower Campus, is equipped with professional studio equipment allowing students to learn all aspects of broadcasting. While students have the opportunity to anchor and report, our rotating crew allows students to learn how to handle cameras, lighting, audio, prompter, editing, and our switchboard.
